Castle Academy's website
Beverly Castle Academy of Early Education’s website needed a fresh look to bring it into 2016. I created a modernized template for BeverlyCastleAcademy.org with a responsive web design, playful color palette, and an updated logo for my Project Showcase portion of Bloc.

MOBILE APP
Charitable mobile app
Charitable is an app that allows fundraisers to crowdfund donations for charities and foundations. The app allows donors to search and contribute to specific causes. Charitable’s logo includes a simple ribbon in the title for users to automatically recognize its association with charitable causes.

Treasurely responsive website
Treasurely is a SaaS (Software as a Service) web application that allows people to collect information and store it in a single place. A user can create notes, store images, bookmark links to websites, and collaborate with other users within the app.

"Work Hard and Be Nice to People"
Designing is truly my passion. My mission is clean design that showcases content and enhances the user experience. For nearly a decade, I've honed my visual skills as a print and digital graphic designer. Now, I want to focus on using UX/UI design to solve problems, create efficiencies, and reduce user frustrations. I want to design products that are helpful, easy to use and fun!
I am a Chicago-based Visual UX Designer and Contractor, currently working for W.W. Grainger, a Fortune 500 company. I have nearly a decade of experience in print and digital publishing.
To further my career, I recently completed Bloc.io’s intensive online UX/UI apprentice program where over the course of 36 weeks I learned to design brand identities, build wireframes, prototype, code and publish apps and websites. Bloc is a San Francisco-based online education company with intensive mentor-led programs for aspiring designers and developers.
I excel at using Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch and content management systems to create multi-platform packages that meld style and substance. My graphic design skills are my strongest asset. However, my years of magazine and newspaper experience lend an editor's careful gaze to my artist's eye.
I have been fortunate to use my creative skills in publications and media – and turn it into a passion. The sky's the limit for this next adventure in UX/UI.
